Wow! A poster who shows images of their actual wife. This is a real rarity.

Please don’t post this on the OT.
Good luck with the campaign.

Good for you!
Not everyone has time to watch a 30min video, so maybe a quick summary of her experience, background and policy positions?
My quick take- a Christian, small business owner who wants less top down interference in public schools (ie let teachers teach). Might be more but I didn't watch the whole thing. This isn't an endorsement, just trying to promote info about candidates.
You should probably put her website and how to donate. I suspect a few here on TD would support.

Definitely not posting on OT board. I posted here because of politics and this board is more conservative, which usually means more maturity.
She is a beautiful woman with an even more beautiful heart! I hit the jackpot 25 years ago.

Big Jim,
That is a Very accurate take. We are small business owners who are very conservative, and we are tired of big government and it’s over reach.
Thank you for the advice and any and all help is appreciated greatly.

Oh do not think that this board is more mature, my friend

Her education and government experience is a little lacking.
Hows she feel about digging around in a very polluted swamp?

Don't use the first pic. She has a "I'm scared of the camera" look, bordering almost on "crazy eyes" in it. (not trying to be an arse, just trying to offer objective help)
The 2nd one (blue outfit) isn't bad but the third one (jeans, white shirt and red jacket) is a winner.
Watching the video from your link now. She looks really good on camera (some of us -sigh!- don't), even better than the pictures. She needs to try to avoid the repetitive use of verbal crutches like "uhm" and "you know". Those are common crutches people use when answering interview questions, but there were a couple of times when she hit both enough to catch attention.
I'ld like to hear her mention some specific instances of how the current tax environment has impacted your business and what specific things she wants to push to fix it (inventory tax, for example). Overall, she comes across well on camera, as being honest and earnest (without being "too much" of either, which can come across as false through trying too hard). That's a fine line to ride if you're new to being interviewed and/or public speaking, so kudos to her.
Good luck to the both of you. I hope you're both able to ride that theme of "regular person running to try and change things, then come home" to success, we need more of it.
