If we're playing "it's just a distraction, who does it affect anyway," the easy no-brainer solution is to ban it and move on. That also happens to be the most popular solution, as well as the fairest solution.
That's also why "this is such a distraction" is such a weak argument from those who really mean "you should just let men play women's sports and not complain about it because it aligns with our insane ideology."

I do. My daughter at younger ages has played against boys in soccer. There was a noticeable difference. As she is older, as are boys, I will not allow her to play against biological males playing on girls teams. The risk isn't worth the reward.
