Hate to see she is against standardized testing, because otherwise she is a star.

Makes me think of parents who complain their children are poor standardized test takers, when everyone else knows the real problem.

You have to measure things to know if what you are doing is helping or hurting

Her issue is teaching the test, rather than educating students. Which is a real problem in a lot of schools

I agree. This reminds me of a Thomas Sowell quote. “There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs.”

Standardized testing forces teachers to teach an important life lesson - most of our decision making comes down to choosing the alternative with the most acceptable trade-offs or the most tolerable risk.

But then again, I was a terrible student. Maybe I just had terrible teachers. Or maybe I was a late bloomer. I did well on most standardized tests and I credit them for teaching me how to make good decisions and tolerate risk without over-thinking the perfect answer.

I wouldn't put it past Roger Goodell. A critical article in the WaPo or NY Times would probably be enough.

The NFL didn't lose enough with their last venture into politics in 2016? Then continue to keep them away since playing politics......

I know a LOT of people who have not watched a single down since 2016, myself included!

Makes you wonder how much of the NFL’s wokeness comes from the fact that Roger’s brother is a sodomite

This is mostly bluster. The game is being played in less than 4 months, and she knows that it is to late for the NFL to move the Super Bowl. If this was 2 years ago, she would have kept her mouth shut.

Standardized testing is BS. All the teachers do is teach the test. We need to get back to learning course material, taking the subject tests and either passing or failing.

Solid platform sans the abortion for rape victims stance.

It's fricked up to force a woman to give birth to a rapists child. If she wants to carry it great, if not I don't blame her one damn bit.

I quit the NFL after the "Bountygate" BS and I don't miss it one bit.

Wow, are you Dr. Strange? Do you get to go back in time and move things around to see what would have happened if this election were somehow two years ago? Did you see what would have happened if your daddy didn't dress you up in little girls' panties and pass you around to his friends?
