How many of your co-workers were fired due to poor performance?

To be fair, they didn't know they would actually have to tolerate students as part of their duties and responsibilities.

I'd be thrilled with 6.5k raise. Tickled even...
Most teachers don't deserve 13,000 and sure as hell wouldn't know what to do with it.
Mine would go straight to savings and Roth.

Teacher checking in...
Trying to buy votes, but they will not get mine!
State/Local taxes pay my salary, should be decided by only ppl who pay in those taxes. Like any industry, I appreciate more money, but this should not come from Federal levels of gov’t.

If any teacher votes for this they’re just following a union vote. I would never vote for this because of increased taxes. But I’d like more money of course

Your narrative got shoved back in your face and it’s all good.

Well I’ve chosen not to pay into a union but I do agree that teacher unions push HARD left
Posted on 3/26/19 at 7:38 pm to tigerfan0082
The younger teachers in districts are very hard left. But they I’ll leave this district because pay is so bad as is town.

That's a horrendously stupid thing to say for a multitude of reasons.

I would want to give them $20K if they could teach something other than LEAP and Common Corpse. Kids get worse education year after year and teachers get tenure and a raise. What a racket. Congrats on your unions, Teach.

Fixed dollar amount is stupid.
Expenses vary widely by region.
+20% in urban CA, NYC.
-10% in gulf south.

Teachers should be a local/state issue. Shouldn't even be discussed at the federal level. Dept of Education should have a zero budget.

My point still stands.

Well, at least she explained how to pay for it. More then most of her pals.

Kamala also wants a universal healthcare plan that would cost $32 trillion - assuming every healthcare professional in the field takes a 40% pay cut.
How is this broad still a candidate again?
