Id say it plays a role.. not a role that’s any ‘huger’ than the policies of China , Russia et al.. all of whom are also dealing with an inflation crisis btw
The US is about 25% of global GDP.
The US dollar accounts for about 60% of the value of foreign reserve holdings worldwide.
The US plays a dramatically outsized role in the global economy.

Greedflation
While this obviously contributed to rising prices, the report finds that company profits increased at a much faster rate than costs did, in a process often dubbed “greedflation.”
This is so retarded it's sad to know there are morons that buy into it.
Do you think there's a single business in the whole f'n world that does not work to maximize its profit? That's what businesses do. They try to make as much money as they can.
Seriously, do you believe there are businesses where you might hear this in the conference room/boardroom? - "we can raise prices 15% just as easily as 5%, and we're confident we'd lose no market share or unit sales, but let's go with the 5% increase because we don't want to be greedy".
Businesses have not behaved differently the last 3 years. They have done like they always do, and thank God for that.
The inflation we've experienced the last three years has been fueled by monetary policy (printing a shite ton of dollars in an economy that isn't growing), plus some supply chain issues exacerbated it.

But you didn't create this post to be convinced. You created this post to argue with those who comment - the same occurs on Reddit where left-wing people create posts to argue with Trump supporters.
You’re right, I’m not new to politics and just forming my beliefs. I have long-held beliefs, as it appears you may also.
I honestly don’t want to argue with anyone. That’s not the goal of the thread. Sometimes I ask myself how in the hell doesn’t everyone see what I see?! So it’s interesting to me to see the reasons or knowledge base from which others form their beliefs and make decisions.
You provided specific reasons you aren’t supporting Trump:
1) You cited data that gives you confidence In the economy. I haven’t delved that deeply into it - I’ve limited my experience to my receipts at the grocery store and gas pump. So maybe I’ll look more into where the economy appears to be headed and have more hope for the near future. Good.
2) You have little confidence in Trump being able to implement policy because during his term as President he had a high staff turnover and few of his former staff support him now.
So for me I feel like policy implementation was difficult due to lack of cooperation from the Democratic side, including what I think were illegitimate and excessive personal attacks. I have felt like the staff turnover was in large part due to an inexperienced Washington politician who didn’t waste time cutting bait on someone who wasn’t on board with his program.
But I understand from your point of view that it can be debated why there was such turnover. And what’s the point if for whatever reason, fair or not, good policy can’t get passed. Fair enough.
3) You cite stats on crude oil production. I’m guessing this is to say that you see gas prices stabilizing (and prices have gone down some and have been relatively stable).
Those are respectable, specific positions. And we’ll see if the economy and cost of living improves in a more visible way at the grocery. For me I hope the unity of the Republican Party is real and lasting. If it is and Trump is elected I expect the ability enact policy will improve - unless of course Congress is split, which is likely. We’ll see.
Got it, thanks.

I'm voting Kamala for the same reason I voted Joe in 2020. They're not Trump.
I don't respect the man or his mannerisms. He's the absolute antithesis of ANYTHING Christian, or presidential, or patriarchal.
So you voted for a guy who has NEVER in his life drawn a paycheck from anyone but taxpayers? Joe was such a great patriarch he produced a crack addict of a son and took inappropriate showers with his daughter? The “big guy” that was actively selling out his country everyday for decades? Biden the devout Christian that broke up Jill’s marriage and thinks it’s ok to kill babies? All because you don’t like Trump’s mannerisms?
Maaaaan, GTFO. You’re an emotional 14yr old girl and it’s terrifying that your vote counts the same as mine.

Don't worry. My vote is about as consequential as a fart in a whirlwind here in bass ackward Mississippi. Your vote probably means 5x what mine will.

For the leftists in the thread justifying a vote for Kamala, one can only hope that they get what they vote for good and hard:
1) Have their retirement accounts and savings taxed to high heaven to pay for universal public healthcare.
2) Be assaulted or worse by an illegal immigrant who crossed the border because there no longer is a border.
3) Have their meat consumption reduced as a part of the Green New Deal and Harris's climate change initiative.
4) Have family and friends laid off due to Harris's absurd energy policy.
And these are just the beginning.

The best is the same people calling people “literal nazis” for years are now trying to take the moral high ground. “When you question how a woman got to her position it doesn’t impact them but it does impact your own wives, daughters, sisters…” lmfao

It is important to prevent Donald Trump from returning to office
and continuing his attacks on the norms and policies, not to mention the
Constitution, that have served this nation well for most of the 20th and 21st Century.
Harris is a smart, accomplished woman and a far better option for the country. Her youth is also preferable to Trump’s waning vitality.

I’m a lot like this but I’m probably still voting for Trump.
There are some things I can’t reconcile and democrats constantly pissing on my leg and telling me it’s raining gets old.

There’s no way you people actually believe this nonsense. Nearly every attack on norms has come from the American left. The left’s entire platform is to assault this nation’s founding.
