Beto has qualities that make him a good candidate (he connects with millennials and Hispanics, bigly) but Kamala has gravitas, thanks to years as California's AG, and she's the real deal IMO.

She's the worst candidate in the field for the Democrats, from an elect-ability, likability, and policy standpoint. She comes off as constantly angry and combative, and has looked petulant in every Judiciary Committee hearing she has been in. Not to mention I have never heard her discuss a single substantive policy that wasn't a vague discussion on race relations.
For the above reasons, she is clearly a front-runner.

First of all, AG is an elected, not meritorious position. Secondly, did you watch any of the confirmation hearings? Fishing for soundbites is not the mark of a good cross examination in a judicial confirmation hearing.
She has no interest in substance or policy. Only division, and "speaking truth to power"

I am 100% convinced that she wins the whole shebang in 2020. Suburban white women don't hate her nearly as much as Hillary or Trump, she has the progressive and establishment wings on lock via identity politics and establishment connections.
