He's an absolute jerk for wanting to disrupt the event in that way. But... he sorta/kinda has a (weak) point.
I did a bit of research, and to be clear, Kai is invited to an *event*, she's not on the tour. Was she selected because of her public image, rather than her golf abilities? Seems like it.
But that's apparently what an event like this is about - it's a publicity event, so they invite her because she is high profile, and she's photogenic and bubbly. She apparently has lots of social media followers, and most of her posts are apparently about golf. So that makes sense from the LPGA event organizers. It's what they want. No reason to get all worked up about it, other than to virtue signal your TDS.
