How about a federal ban on affirming care for these nutjobs instead? Stop enabling them.

This is where I’m at. If we want to discuss slippery slopes is giving this group protections. Most of these trans are against gun rights yet use them at a higher rate in violent crimes than any other group. The posters who are arguing for shall not be infringed are ignoring current infringements while defending this small group. They have also agreed that they wouldn’t hand over their guns so their argument here is weak and seems like they just don’t like it because it’s coming from the President.

ASPD is the common definition used for psychopath in the medical world. If you were in the medical world you would know that.

We don’t use the term “psychopath” in the medical world because…try to follow me here…it doesn’t have a medical definition. It’s a colloquial term that hasn’t been in the DSM in literally decades.

It’s OK to admit you were wrong, buddy. “Psychopath only means ASPD” is a post hoc rationalization when you realized after googling that the DSM doesn’t define psychopath like you thought.

Now you’re being intentionally misleading. Says a lot about you. Why did you leave out the very next word in that post? It was ASPD.

Let’s make this very simple. You said the DSM defines “psychopath.” Where does it do so? I’m well aware it defines ASPD as well a multitude of other mental illnesses. But again, we are talking “psychopaths” bc YOU chose to use that term.

Nice try.

You just said that doesn’t exist so I guess he can keep his guns while you as a “medical professional” argue in defense of trannies.

Agreed. Now admit I used the term ASPD before you said there was no definition of psychopath. I even called you out for it. And you intentionally left it off of your post. And that you were lying. As you say. It’s ok to admit you were wrong.

Or you can just lie again and tell us how smart you think you are.

now we know you aren’t in the medical or legal field. Such a feeble “argument.”

What’s the definition of psychopath? I am currently combing through the last 3 DSMs and I can’t find it anywhere. Can you help a brotha out?

Giving this group protections? They are protected by the Constitution.

Any other group? What groups? Like young black men.... The data is difficult to parse but there have been around 10 (and thats questionable) transgender folks out of around a million transgender folks have been involved in mass shootings. Yes some were particularly horrible but folks from many other "groups" are FAR FAR FAR more responsible for gun violence in this country.

How is this relevant? I asked for a definition of psychopath. For some unknown reason, you think bc the DSM defines ASPD, that is also defines psychopath? This is some weird misapplication of the transitive property. I thought you were in the legal field?

What kind of a retarded question is this?

What does blue hair have to do with transgenderism?

Blue hair is not been proven a strong indicator of murderous antisocial behavior like transgenderism has.

Blue hair might just mean they are stupid marxist democrats. Or they just might like to have blue hair.

We don't allow the mentally ill to own firearms.

Which is something subjective. Until the 2nd amendment is amended, shall not be infringed means shall not be infringed.

Just need to get transgenderism labeled for what it is a mental illness and the problem solves itself they/them/it whatever commits a felony by lying on the form.

I’m all for it! Watch the left come out defending “their rights”. Talk about a catch 22 for the democrats.

Just b/c you have a mental illness doesnt mean you have been committed or court has deemed you unfit to own a firearm. What state do you live in that simply being diagnosed with something like depression or anxiety or PTSD does that take away your right to purchase a gun?

There are states that prevent residents from purchasing and possessing weapons without even having a mental illness lol. Again, the shall not infringe is a worthless claim when it’s already infringed but this is different because certain posters don’t like Trump as noted in this thread so they’re defending transgenders.
