Yea F this guy if that is true.
He is in the group of those who gave the left what they needed to frame the whole thing as a violent insurrection and probably didn't need to be pardoned.

I don't hold a mistake he made in the heat of battle when he was 20 years old against him. Especially if he's atoned for it and his superior officer is the one who told him to shoot the cuffed man if he moved again.
I don't hold attending the protest against him or even how he dressed or anything like that.
I do hold it against him that he physically and violently attacked police with a metal baton and other items like shields. Those police were just men and women there to do their jobs that day and had nothing to do with the election. They were not the enemy of any sort and the few violent protesters gave the whole day a black eye

Was he carrying it that day or did they find it in his house when they arrested him?
The baton he is accused of using can be seen in a pouch attached to his paintball armor. Looks like an extendable police baton.

The court martial is available on the city college of New York’s website as well.
I have a hard time getting past not knowing a man is hand cuffed when you end up shooting him in the back of the head from 6 feet though.
Either way, 5 years for hitting the shields of police officers seems beyond harsh.

Disagree, service members are supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard, and are briefed many times knowing what not to do and what the consequences are. An example is in 29 palms and Yuma if you mess with a desert tortoise you can be punished severely under the law. Killing a detainee is just ignorant.

I mean, I think that varies with how you see the day. If you saw it as a protest against an injustice, sure. If you saw it as an effort to physically, if necessary, stop the corruption taking place - is scuffling with police defending the tyrants off limits?

The baton in the case, canteen, armor, handheld radio, goggles, etc. It's all too much and no rational 40-year-old man should roll out like that unless they were looking for trouble or are role-playing.
Not to mention that the article said he travelled to Ohio to meet up with a group before traveling to D.C. None of that sounds spur of the moment.

But but but Ed said: "It was not thought-out. It was spur of the moment."
That must be Ed's assemble each day he leaves his home.

Ok but you comment was "carried a gun" not "carried a baton", which I saw in the pic, but not a rifle or gun.
Is there a law against a felon carrying a baton?

If I don't eventually redpill my assigned monitoring agent(s) by the time it's all over, I will have considered that a gross failure on my part.

He clarified the gun was at his house when he was arrested. He was still a felon in possession of a firearm confirming he makes poor life choices

Not even shitting you, the biggest reason I voted for Trump was to get our political prisoners freed. Welcome back baw.

I agree with you if the J6rs weren't treated the way they should. If he comes back and says that everything the DOJ did was on the up and up towards him, then Id say he got what he deserved. If they didn't then i lean towards "frick the govt," and pray Ed learned from it.

I’ve never been to Ohio in my life. Tifwiw. If that’s wrong what else is?
And to clarify it was a goofy LARP costume for the rally. We were antagonized and agitated into violence and such an unruly protest.
Roast me for the costume, it did/does look super goofy.
