Hard pivot?
You act like Trump has never been pissed when people make fun of him. He still holds a grudge 20+ years later after Rosie Odonnel said he wasn't a billionaire. That doesn't mean the entire party can't handle humor and JD has shown consistently that he can.
Also, the right literally invented the meme war so this is pretty easy for them and just second nature at this point.
What's fascinating is that all you saw from Ep 1 was SP making fun of Trump and missing the fact that they made fun of wokeism being a flash in the pan and liberals giving up so easily. They showed how Trump has you all waving the white flag, yet all you got out of it was OMG Trump's small penis!
