Just imagine how much more effective Trump could be without all the unforced errors

I get it...yeah it's his style...and it's what makes Trump Trump...but since he was first elected every time he put his foot in his mouth all I could think of was how much MORE WINNING we could have if he was able to just shut up at times.
I remember in 2016 thinking once he's elected he will be more "Presidential" as a lot of people had hoped. It's so frustrating watching him stub his toe over and over and not learning from it.
Either way I'd still take 47 with all of his flaws over FJB or Harris all day every day.

Unforced errors and surrounding himself with carnies.

I don’t really know of any unforced errors he’s done this second term. His criticism of Musk yesterday was very muted and benign compared to his usual retaliations.
An overreaching judiciary and a Republican Congress are the primary issues that are gumming up the works.

His real potential was actually "Reaganesque" but he's too far gone to use that term now.
He's really shite himself this term. You would think he would have learned more from his first term but no, he's regressed.

Very good use of the word.

2016 - Democrats launch a fake Russia investigation. And then launch COVID.
2020 - Democrats stole the election.
2024 - Judicial branch and Congress are retarded.
These are the major issues that have slowed him down. Which are unforced errors?

Well said

He could be, but Congress' inaction renders the point moot.

Just imagine how much more effective Trump could be if we actually had a fair media
I don’t mind if they talk about his frick ups but them never talking about the good stuff that he does is what pisses me off

Just imagine how much more effective Trump could be without:
1. 99% negative coverage in the media
2. Republicans in Congress voting in the interests of their constituents rather than their personal wealth
3. The DOJ not trying to throw him in prison for the last 10 years
4. The FBI/CIA not trying to assassnate him every 6 months
Some of you retards have zero perspective.
Oh, I see this is another fricking sidewalkside thread,

quote:i totally agree with this. If Trump got the same treatment Dims get with the media you'd think we were living in utopia. But KNOWING the media is going to twist and slam every little thing you say you'd think he'd try to be just a little more careful with his words.

The good thing.. more and more people are tuning out the MSM and watching FOX, NewsMax or Podcasts
Fox criticizes Trump as well but they also talk about all of the good things he has done.
I’m cool with that

Like when Trump literally stated that he condemned white supremacists and then the media omitted that part and twisted the following sentence to say the exact opposite?
Yep, if only Trump had chosen his words more carefully instead of unequivocally stating he was against neo-nazis, the media wouldn't have twisted his words.
Some of you don't live in reality.

We know. We;ve tried to tell y'all what was up for years.
Trump is a phony, a narcissist and doesnt have your best interest in mind, but you still cling to the ideal that he's your savior

But why?
Like you stated, he can't win for losing... tempering himself would make ZERO positive difference.
What it *would* do is lead to headlines about Trump losing his edge, shaky confidence, out of touch, slipping into the shadows- whatever, but if Trump stopped or reined in his Trumpiness, that would be the impetus for some 25A talk and you know it.
