My supervisor said we got Elon'd and to send my accomplishments by cob tomorrow. I heard from other people this type of requests was making its way across the private sector. I welcome our new A.I. overlords.

I have to justify my actions several times a day. It’s almost like most people aren’t used to oversight

Do you post on TD at work?

I'm retired and can tell you 5 things I did last week.

Here's a link to your post history if you need some ideas.

Just messin with ya.
What do you think of the request? Do you agree with that kind of check in with your particular line of work?

I have proactively done this in the past (and it's been more than 5 bullet points), and I've also been asked to do it (private sector).
If a person is doing what they are supposed to be doing, it shouldn't be an issue. One could also use it to build a case when performance reviews and merit increases come around.

Why is accountability such a taboo request when you’re being paid to do a job?

I've done this in the private sector for the majority of my 25 year career so far. All the whining has gotten out of hand.

Yes. I would guess you really don't even need to read the responses because everything you are looking for can be found in the people reaction to the request.

So, are you cool with it or do you find it intrusive?

I already do this at the end of the week. Not only are they asking us to submit 5 accomplishments but also how we accomplished them at a granular level. Step by step.

Same here and I can even name five beneficial things I did last week...

There’s a big difference between oversight and micromanagement. You are in the micromanagement category.

I couldn't ever go back to corporate America. That's an absolute hellhole.
You guys need to work for yourselves and be free.

Is this a one-time request, similar to annual goals, or something that will be required weekly, in addition to your performance reports?
