Why would you go through Selma from SC to TX?

30 years ago, we had to play RC Hatch, the high school in Uniontown in a football playoff game. They moved the game to Selma for safety reasons.

This thread reminds me of the idiot I met a few months back at work. He was moving from Miami to Arizona with Uhaul in tow. For whatever reason he chose to drive all the way up through Atlanta and Birmingham. I was like damn dude do you have gps? You’re driving 6 or 7 hundred miles out of the way to get there.

frick me! I’d rather be shot in the head than drive through Atlanta…and I had to do it yesterday in a storm. I live in the Birmingham metro area, I will take that every day of the week vs Atlanta. Homey made a bad decision!

Was in Shreveport and Bossier about a month ago
In Bossier the traffic was terrible but the new area around the Casinos was pretty cool
Downtown Shreveport was great if you're into bums during the day and bums and mini riots at night

I hope you don’t live anywhere near BTR or Lafayette where the infrastructure was designed by a 5 year old & the traffic is truly terrible.

Selma, Uniontown, and Jackson mights be the three worst places in America. At one point, Uniontown, AL was the crack capital of the South.
