Keep in mind Rasmussen polls "likely voters" which is a smaller slice than "registered votes", which itself is a smaller slice than "all adults". So 49% of likely black voters might approve of Trump, while 25% of registered black voters might, while 8% of adult blacks might.
Likely voters, depending on the special sauce used to determine "likely", is generally a more accurate prediction of election results. But it doesn't represent the whole population.

I don't know if the numbers are as high as this poll shows. But I do think quite a few blacks have taken notice Ohio the white liberal left has basically taken over their black lives matter movement and use it for themselves

You may be right but most black people are not ignorant, anymore than white people. They are seeing the same riots and looting in the streets. They see black people, including children, killed by thugs in high numbers. Black communities want deserve safety. They know Democrats only use them and give them just enough to pacify them. I believe they are waking up and I am so happy for them. The country will be so much better for them, for all of us if we can unite and work together.

Exactly, ras was terrible in 2018 house elections--OP, must of been real hard to cherry pick and find that one good poll for trump in a sea of bad polls--but you can always depend on good ole rassy to give the gop false hope---btw, you folks are crazy if you think trump is getting anywhere near 42% approval from black folks-- trump will be damn lucky to get 12% of the black vote--- this race is over-deal with it trumpkins!!
