oh really? What were they charged with? You fricking numb nuts.

This particular defendant was charged with obstruction of an official proceeding, and assaulting a police officer. And at least 4 other felonies.

Coerced public confessions are not a good look, but they do have the advantage of being totally unbelievable and provoking near-universal private derision toward the compelling entity.

What country does Judge Amy Berman Jackson think she lives in?

So a judge can now sensor your television viewing?

Well, if she wants to, I suppose. It's not like she has to worry about someone giving her a reason to stop beyond some mean social media posts.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly said that Doug Jensen, 42, of Des Moines, Iowa, had violated the strict conditions that were set when he released Jensen from jail on July 13, including prohibitions on accessing the internet and using a cellphone.

The judge was appointed by Trump. Better vetting is in order next time around.

So, she should have just left him in jail? Before a trial, a judge can put all kinds of restrictions on a defendant to make sure he poses no pretrial risk. In Georgia, a person out on bond can be restricted to stay within a single county. It is not unusual for accused sex offenders to be denied access to the internet. I don't know enough about this particular defendant to know what is reasonable, but the Judge is acting well within her power.

But these are not political crimes as you said. Obviously these are the worst charges of anyone arrested and imprisoned but has anyone but charged with a crime to overthrow the government? Treason? Sedition? "political crimes" as you say?

Let's break down these charges: "Obstruction of official proceeding" A bullshite charge because nothing else would stick.
"Assaulting a police officer" This could be anything including accidently bumping into a police officer. These charges are so bogus and FOS that I tend to believe the assault charges are also bullshite and made up.

So far you are 0.000

When you are looking to go on some sort of probation or diversion, they can mandate whatever they want. Technically you didn’t have to agree to it.

Technically? They are keeping him as a political prisoner for supporting an elected president.

Just as Winston Smith learned to love Big Brother in 1984, we see re-education actually works.
