Honestly I have to say that no matter how much we support immigration enforcement we should still support the 4th amendment. And pulling people over on the highways just because they are brown is pretty much the definition of not supporting the Fourth Amendment

That is not what they are doing.

Okay... "We think you might be in this country illegally. That's why we pulled you over."

LOL

They have to actually have a reason to think it not just pull it out of their arse. Come on people. You can't call yourself conservative and not know our constitution. I realize that right now immigration is a big deal but don't completely abandon our form of government for crying out loud

They are supposed to have reasonable articulable suspicion to Think You Are committing a crime about to commit a crime or just did. They're supposed to be able to articulate specific facts that lead them to the belief. And no. Because you're 50 miles from the border doesn't count

These are also completely ridiculous and require such pretzel logic to justify under the fourth amendment that the court should be embarrassed. But as bad as they are they still don't amount to just randomly grabbing people on the street and pulling them over

I think most Americans have concluded the blatantly leftist judiciary in Blue states and Blue jurisdictions are nothing more than Dim/Cultural Marxist operatives

I mean man you're not going to find anybody more anti-leftist judges than me but it really isn't very leftist to say that the police have to have a specific reason to pull you over before they do. A reason they can articulate due to a specific set of facts. Can we not dump the Fourth Amendment while correctly going after illegal immigration please?

Dude, immigration has ALWAYS played very loose with the 4th long before Trump showed up.

But ok. What are they doing according to you?

The order is too broad and seeks to handcuff immigration officials. Just ignore this order.

You do realize they pull people over at random all the damn time near the border

Yes I do and it's always been bullshite even before Trump showed up.

My guess wouldn't be for being brown but for catching drug mules.
that's still a pretty damn Brazen violation of Fourth Amendment. The fact of the Supreme Court has Let It Go on is embarrassing.

are you listening to yourself? In the United States of America you think that we should be okay with the police just randomly pulling us over because we happen to be in some proximity to a place that some people commit crimes?

It's mainly the location. People get stop searched by the tsa hundreds of times a day in America without committing a hint of a crime.

"pulling over anyone who is brown"?????

Have you ever been to the border? Everyone is brown, they arent pulling over everyone. If I stop at a home depo parking lot and people throw shat at me and run.....they are probably illegal.

Have you ever flown on a plane and have to go through TSA?

Have you ever been through a metal detector before entering a building?

Have you ever had a bag checked entering a stadium or arena?

Have you ever had your ID checked?

Have you ever had your phone or computer monitored (newsflash you have)?

Tell you what, put on a new pair of Air Nikes, take a couple hundred dollars and place it visibly in your front pocket. Now head down to the 9th ward around midnight on a Friday. And when a cop stops your white arse and asks you where you are going. Tell him to f off you have your 4th amendment rights and walk on.....but give him the contact info for your next of kin first
