Or even use their own money (gasp) to purchase methods of preventing the natural consequences of their elective behaviors.

Hoorah! We don't need no birth control. We need our culture in America to applaud women who give birth to babies.....lots of American babies. And we need to do more to help families and support women who make the courageous decision to stay home and nurture their children. Motherhood is one of the most noble of professions.

Thank God we have a President who is doing all he can to bring back good paying jobs here in America. Jobs that pay well enough to support a family, allowing women to stay home and take care of their precious little ones.

We must begin to undo decades of devastating militant feminist policy that have brought the traditional family to near extinction. Fortunately young women today are responding to their maternal instincts and chosing to enter into a covenant relationship and become mothers.
We need a new counterculture movement.

I applaud them. Thank you.

Well, requiring coverage for things that aren't directly related to health issues of the person should not be required of an employer. It's that simple.

As long as birth control is covered in instances where there are health issues involved such as endometriosis or similar complications, I don't think it should be required to cover it. I am a liberal saying this, because condoms or other male contraceptives are not covered for free through employer mandated insurance, so its a sexist law.

I'm just waiting for BamaATL to come and tell us how many women will die in the streets because of this.

Trump should have outlawed coat hangers along with this decision.

btw - how many 'coat hanger abortions' were actually performed and how many resulted in death prior to Roe vs Wade??

That was the horror show eliminated by RvW. Just want to know how relieved I am supposed to be.

So, because the employer's not paying for it, she can't have it? Period?

Go buy birth control or use a condom. Both are cheap and one is already free.

She can make any decision she likes. She just has to pay for it. Just like everyone else.

I thought women wanted quality and independence? Well, here ya' go.

These idiots expect to do whatever they like AND have someone else pay for it. Children. Every one of them.

The segment of society that possibly cannot afford birth control, was already getting free birth control and nothing has changed... The real problem is they are not using it and using their vajajay's as an amusement park ride...

Matt Walsh on the subject. I agree with him on all parts.

It was announced today that the government will no longer force elderly celibate nuns to pay for birth control. Obviously feminists are treating this news with an apocalyptic level of panic.

As you may recall, the Obama Administration mandated that all employers cover birth control, allowing only a very narrow religious exception for a certain select group of conscientious objectors. A religious exception so narrow that even nuns didn't qualify. Trump has simply expanded that exception so that anyone with a religious or moral objection to funding birth control will no longer be forced to fund it. Personally, I don't think you should need a moral or religious objection. Nobody should be forced to pay for anyone's birth control. Period. But this is a good start, anyway.

Despite the hysteria from the ever-hysterical Left, you'll notice what Trump didn't do: He didn't ban birth control. He didn't make it harder to purchase. He didn't put any obstacles in the way of obtaining birth control, other than the obstacle in the way of obtaining most products. The obstacle is that you have to be a grown up and pay for it. I experience that obstacle every time I go to the grocery store to buy anything. It's part of being an adult in a free society.

Now, I must confess that I'm not a fan of birth control in general. I think the birth control pill precipitated the decline of western civilization and the collapse of the nuclear family. Well, I don't think that. I know that. It's not really a matter of opinion. But that's all rather irrelevant to this debate. All that matters in this discussion is that your desire to have sex without making babies is your business. It's your problem. It's your issue to sort out. Not mine. Not your employer's. Not the President's.

If you really want to have sex, but you really can't afford babies, and you really can't even afford the few dollars it requires to purchase contraception, then that's a good sign that you really, really, really shouldn't be having sex in the first place. You're not even close to ready. If you can't have sex without reaching into my pocket for the funding, then don't have sex. It's pretty simple.

Or maybe we could just summarize it this way for anyone panicking over today's news: Grow up. In a hurry. Please. Thank you.
