It’s bullshite and everyone knows it. What Hillary did was worse. What Biden has done with classified documents is just as bad. Neither of those 2 were President when those documents were left unsecured or taken. This is selective and targeted prosecution. It’s a political hit job.

Why is it still going on three years later? If trump was serious about returning the documents, why wasn’t it done?

Do you live under a rock? Are you a child? Have you ever dealt with anything involving lawyers and negotiations? Nothing gets resolved quickly. They especially don’t get resolved quickly in terms of the rights of former presidents. Former Presidents have a broad array of rights when it comes to documents compiled during their administration. If there is an issue, it’s resolved with the national archives. That’s the avenue the statute lays out. There was never any resolution because the DoJ decided once again to usurp the process and use the dispute to launch a criminal investigation.

This is the same doj and FBI that fed stories to the media and then used those stories as evidence to obtain FISA warrants to spy on a presidential candidate! This is the same FBI and DoJ that tried to help get Trump impeached over a phone call in which he asked the president of Ukraine to look into the Biden corruption. Even better is that we now know the same fbi and department of justice had credible evidence and sources that Joe Biden took in millions of dollars in bribes via Burisma in the Ukraine and they sat on it! They have been caught red handed launching bogus investigations going all the way back to 2015 and now low and behold they launched another using a non criminal document dispute.

frick the FBI! frick every last one of their agents and frick the janitor that cleans the toilets at the FBI building in Washington. frick the DoJ. frick every last one of those cock suckers from coast to coast. Nothing but trash organizations filled with trash arse people who make a career sucking off the govt tit while the rest of us try and keep our fricking heads down and not end up on their radar because some cheap suit wearing son of a bitch with a small dick thinks we the fricking people are the problem.

Thank you Blizzard, thank you. And you are correct, it is a hallmark of this democratic machine to start at point B and argue their case. Examples:

Point A is a given...guns kill people. Now lets start at Point B and argue how me get rid of which ones and the restrictions on the others.

Point A...all problems of blacks are caused by slavery NOT the fact that their own race enslaved them in Africa and sold them to white men. Now Point B, how much free food, housing, education, work preference, do we give them free access to our wives and daughters dictated by our govt?

Point A...there is a change in the environment and it is all caused by middle class white people in the western world. Point B how many restrictions can we force on them to make them pay for this, nevermind the actual pollution caused by the wealthy or the poor, nor the fact the climate has changed for a million years.

On this issue Point A is HE DECLASSIFIED THEM, THE REST IS MUTE. Its like the Gaetz argument of him having sex with a "one time minor". Its laughable and we have all these experts jumping right in the deep end and trying to swim when the pool had no water to begin with, its a stacked deck dont head down that rabbit hole. Can you prove he did not declassify them, forget anything after that its a mute point.

you won’t find too many legal types that have been fairer to Trump than Turley. He calls a spade a spade. Doesn’t make him correct here, but if you’re not a very knowledgeable expert in constitutional law you probably shouldn’t be dismissive of his opinions.

I pay particular attention to Turley and Dirkowicht - and to Victor Davis Hanson - among a lot of other long time conservatives.

I have never seen a major misstatement by any of them. And I have never seen them try to 'word salad over' some obvious fact.

These days it is very difficult to identify positive spokesmen for absolute truth and morality.

Have to work hard to wade thru personal biases as well.

Not sure why this is being downvoted. Turley is signaling that this indictment has teeth. Turley has been railing on the left for all their bullshite angling against Trump so if he’s sounding the alarm on this one, we should pay attention.

What you posted is probably true. But then you can read through the indictment and say Trump said and did some stupid shat.

I don’t think it will be dismissed. This isn’t really about sending Trump to prison, it’s about getting him out of the Presidential race. He is facing the prospect of spending the rest of his life in prison. Depending on what the Government has on him, the likelihood he is convicted could be great. The Supreme Court May or may not rescue him, but that’s a huge gamble. They could just reject hearing the case. If the prosecutor said he would allow Trump to plead guilty and do no jail time if he agrees to drop out of the Presidential race, it might be accepted by Trump.
