Why would he lie about the documents? I think he wants them to come after him.

BTW, it's becoming increasingly clear that the classification system. Is clearly used to protect criminals in our government, and not national security. The only reason that happens is if the highest level of our government are controlled by the criminals...

Donald Trump was the fricking PRESIDENT of the United States…duly elected by the PEOPLE.

How can he have “obstructed justice”??? He IS the people’s justice, and voice.

UNREAL.

John Yoo, Current Law Faculty member at Cal Berkeley

You "forgot" something

He is also a Bushite (W) so that is the same as someone from the desantis campaign giving their "learned" opinion.

Why would you mention his former position without mentioning his current one?

That would be about as honest as calling Scarborough "former GOP congressman...".

Not really following the "have your attorney lie to the GJ" argument

I think it's a double standard regardless, egregiously so. Does Trump make it easier because he's so reckless with the truth? Probably.

It's a pretty benign take, dude. It's not like it's some attenuated legal argument.

That would explain Smith winning court rulings and compelling Trump lawyers to testify before the Grand Jury.

What I posted here last night is what is being talked about today. There are some specifics that I heard that Trump signaled to his attorney what to do with docs that should not have been there. Also something about him suggesting to an atty to talk the bullet for him by lying.

Hillary clearly obstructed justice by breaking the blackberry phones and using software to erase her servers.
Tell me again, what happened to her?

And all of the stuff Hillary hid, destroyed and erased was under subpoena. Her unsecure home brew server had been hacked by the Chinese to the point that they co-owned it and its classified documents.

so why aren't they being charged for perjury?

The claim is that Trump lied to his lawyers, not that the lawyers knowingly lied.

You cannot get anybody more originalist on the constitution than John Yoo. He’s taken a lot of arrows for the originalist cause, and did an incredible job when he was in the DoJ.

Geese, you people…

That basically broke the attorney client privilege, and made them fair game as far as testifying, wouldn’t it?

Show my quote. As I've posted, I'm sick of the Bushs, Clintons, Obamas, Bidens and Trumps. The Baby Boomer Presidents have been BIG FAILUREs.

Spare me ... because his former position is what qualifies him to have an opinion. You Always Trumpers just don't like the Truth... you just want to hear Trump propaganda.

Based on what I have heard today, it appears he was spot on... the points he made will likely bring Trump down.
