And amazingly got it all wrong

Breakdown.

quote:

Both Bernie Sanders and Fauxchohantus have put out versions of Medicare **Cough** Medicaid **Cough** for all

And while Bernie is honest and says it will raise middle-class taxes, Warren is dishonest and swears her plan will not raise taxes for the middle class.

quote:

America has one of the best healthcare systems in the world for Rich/famous people

No, our healthcare is terrible all around. It's Crony Capitalism. We have next to zero Rx transparency, we have no idea what service is gonna cost until we receive a bill in the mail, and Medicare for all would cost the Country more than the current national debt. You can't have affordable and available Medicare for all. It's impossible.

What they don't cover is them also promising to eliminate/limit the coal industry, raising the minimum wage to $15 nationally, student loan forgiveness, and affordable, non-binary unicorn education where you learn about what's new in feminist dance theory and why everyone did Socialism wrong.

quote:

Under Medicare for all the gov would be a much stronger negotiater

There is a Thomas Jefferson quote that comes to mind. I'm sure you all know it.

Then he goes into Canadian and UK medicare programs and uses examples of them voting Tommy Douglas, who is the founder of Canada's Medicare program, as the greatest Canadian, and UK kids jumping on. beds during the opening ceremony of the Olympics as reasons that their Medicare systems are beloved. While Stating that only 23% of Americans want a completely rebuilt Healthcare system. He uses graphs that distort that in comparison to UK and Canada. Well, that means 77% don't want a rebuild of Healthcare but instead want to see more transparency.

I'm not watching further. Can't stand Oliver.

Huh?

Isn't the problem with American HC that it is too expensive? You want to replace it with someone MORE expensive?

If I interpret his views correctly, if it ends up costing more (no one really knows at this point), then it would be worth it because more people would be covered

While diminishing the actual amount using graphs as visuals.

And his idea of “worth it” seems like there may be bias.

If you ignore the costs and claim a positive outcome, every idea is a good one.

It's one of the worst ideas you could ever propose in the face of massive pension liabilities and a demographic shortfall. There's no magic wand on raising that amount of taxes. This all leads to money printing.

A completely asinine batch of logic.

And, AGAIN, it's because we use this terms "health care" like it's defined when, it isn't.

Yeah. More people would be covered. For them, step up.

For the VAST MAJORITY of everyone else? Step down.

So. Yeah. frick him.

Can I also point out that ALL of these people want NATIONAL health care for control.

They could help the TRULY needy access care with any of a myriad amount of ideas that would be popular. But nope. They want to help make it a giant SOP to the middle class and make THEIR shite free too!

For OBVIOUS reasons.

My thoughts are these. Why should I, a working man who has private insurance, forego that contractual relationship- which benefits me and I’m fine with...to service the needs of others who are not incentivized to establish their own sources of cafe?

It seems like giving everyone stuff for free doesn’t incentivize them to actually create their own opportunities to achieve.

I’m sorry joe blow had kids and can’t afford them but it’s a struggle we all deal with.

Every time the gov gets bigger we lose.

Leave this to the states. Wait, a couple tried and failed. Instead of lessons learned progs want to try again but on a grander scale. Idiocy.

Healthcare in this country is too damn expensive. Drug company’s charge insane prices. Something needs to be done. But raising my taxes to do it is not the solution I want.

This is the first step we need to take care. I am a conservative but I do believe it is possible to do healthcare correctly. Our government is not capable of running it correctly, price gouging needs to be brought down, and we know we will not fund it properly.

Here. I'll break it down for ya.

Right out of the gates.

"America has one of the best systems in the world for rich famous people"

FALGRANTLY false. America has the best system in the world for the VAST MAJORITY of it's citizens. It's not even fricking close. Whoever is in 2nd can't see first from where they are. Let's get to brass tacks. This is about the bottom rung and nothing more.

Then, his whole thing about how many declare bankruptcy over health expenses. Well, no offense Mr. John. But, guess what. A lot of those people in that number didn't ONLY go bankrupt for medical bills.

And, of course, let's just ignore the shite TON of people who COULD buy insurance, but don't. Not because they can't afford it, but because they wanted a nicer car instead.

I can't take it. I only survived like 5 minutes because it's the same drivel.

Cover EVERYONE under one fricking umbrella because a MINORITY of people fall into category "needs help" or category "let's buy those votes".

If they were serious, they'd be talking about helping those who truly need help. And, if you end up going bankrupt because you were offered employer insurance but turned it down because you wanted to chase girls instead...…..oh fricking well
