What am I naive about? I have no illusions about where this country is headed and what stimulated it. It'll get better before it gets worse. It always does. There are dark days ahead. STFU and go back to planning your next Alt-Right "rally".

He served his country and when it’s all said and done that’s what he will be remember by. His politics shouldn’t matter as his life winds down. I’m not a fan politically but he did more than most. RIP JM

I'm not happy about him dying. But, I'm very happy about him being out of office.
The fact that he's held on to his position even without the capacity to do the job shows that he views his position as something he owns rather than a service that he performs...not to mention that it's been extremely apparent that recently it's not him doing his tweeting and press releases.
It's past time for McCain to be gone. That him being gone coincides with his death is because of him. He should have stepped aside a long time ago.
I'll also add that when you add up all of John McCain and look at his life as a whole, he's been a net negative on this country.

as it is known, i'm not a very big Trump person... that being said, despite what i think of him as a person, and i dislike him to his core, i wouldn't take delight in hearing that Trump is literally dying in front of my eyes, by his own choice... there is still a level of decency, that as a human being, you just have to display, and man, it sure seems fricking absent here...
