What is ironic is that Trump and McCain believe the same way on McCain's biggest issue---funding of the MIC.

Trump opposed the Iraq War. McCain still thinks it was a good idea and also wants another Cold War with Russia, regime change in Syria, war with Iran and an even more aggressive posture with North Korea. The closer candidate in 2016 was neocon Hillary, who has supported every war of aggression the United States has engaged since being in politics.

don't agree with his politics, but that shouldn't stop people from having a little humanity.

I can’t stand the man and I think he is a traitor to this country. But as a Christain I hope he makes peace with God and asks for forgiveness for his transgressions

Highly decorated veterans and even POWs can be assholes. I'm a highly decorated veteran I bet you believe I'm an a-hole (though I was never captured)

I don't know you and it's not my place to judge you. Your entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. That's a small part of what makes America great. Heck, we're a country where a presiential candidate can pander to all you veterans with lies about raising money for veterans organizations only to take the money and pay off porn stars. MAGA baby!!

It's not about policy, it's strictly personal McCain allowed his personal feelings about Trump to dictate how he voted in the Senate.

Which is pathetic.

Unfortunate. I wish he would have done right by himself, his family, and the country, and resigned when he got the original diagnosis.

And by god Arizona won’t have an effective senator until the last possible moment

Shows how much any given senator actually matters

I'm not going to criticize a dying man. I didn't like his politics, don't know anything about him personally.

Hope his transition is peaceful and pain free.

To he who passes by,
As thou art now, so once was I,
As I am now, thou soon shalt be,
Prepare thyself to follow me.

Can't say I wouldn't do the same. I'm not a fan of his, but I don't wish this on anyone. May he and his family find peace.

Yep- McCain is a small, petty man. The country will be better off when he’s not running around doing small, petty things any longer. Good riddance John McCain.

Man, some of y'all have pure evil in your hearts criticizing a dying man like this. Damn shame to read some of these comments.

I think it was planned already for Obama to be at his funeral but not the current President. How classy of McCain to plan his own funeral in spite.

CLASSY? lol frick you.

A sorry sob sits in the Oval office, that 5 Times avoided Nam because of bones spurs. A sorry pos that has the audacity to claim McCain is not a war hero because he was captured and was a POW, who could have left imprisonment early because of who his dad was in the military, but chose to stay behind with his fellow soldiers.

A pos CiC, that’s heaps praise on a convicted criminal Paul Manafort that he says is a very good man...”brave” for not narcing out Trump, while the pos CiC fails to mention McCain once at a military ceremony on a bill named after him.

Yes. Classy indeed. Get fricked

not for me. McCain is evil. He may have been honorable and great at one time, but he was clearly corrupted. Major enemy of the people.
