He was an awful candidate, and even without a stroke or mental health issues, he probably would’ve been an awful senator. I hope he resigns.

But I think he does deserve some kudos for facing up to his depression, rather than trying to hide it.

A guy was on xinn this morning saying that Lincoln, Churchill, and JFK had mental health problems but it helped them do their job in a time of crisis.

Lol. Imagine him saying that about Trump.

Fetterman and his campaign defrauded the Pennsylvania electorate.

And for that he is a hero.

The world is upside down.

A special election would need to be held to replace him, if he resigns or dies.
You are mistaken.

Pennsylvania is one of the 36 states in which the governor appoints the replacement, and the replacement serves until the next regularly scheduled statewide election. There is no special election.

This whole thing has been grotesque. He’s on the verge of death. His brain is damaged. Yet they propped him up like a meat puppet and didn’t let him rest. I don’t care how you feel about him; the man needed help but was surrounded by predators.

In that case the best thing for America is for him to languish in a coma for 6 years and not be able to vote in the Senate.

With Sinema no longer a dem, that should tilt the Senate to the Republicans.

The NY Times is now admitting he probably should have dropped out of the race.
Yes. But the larger issue is, he didn't have to because of the predictable stupidity of Pennsylvania's electorate.

I hope there is a price exacted, and both Feinstein and Shrek end up unable to cast a critical deciding vote at some point in Senate proceedings. Getting badly burned is the only way these BAMN people will learn.

We need an adjunct to the 25th Amendment whereby states could move to remove Congressional representatives based on competency.

For bringing attention to mental health issues. This is the liberal media talking points.

During Reagans's second term the media said he should be removed from office because he was senile. Why didn't they praise him for 'bringing attention to mental health issues'?

Because at the time Reagan was the conservative politician who was the spawn of the devil and Hitler.

This whole Pennsylvania affair speaks volumes about the Republican party

the best candidate you have is mentally impaired and you call that a referendum on republicans? Perhaps a referendum on the intelligence of the democrats of the electorate and the media that knowingly deceived the dumb democrats in the electorate and propped him up. Not everything is the republicans fault.

The guy is a clown, and doesn’t belong, but if this raises awareness to mental health issues, that’d be a nice silver lining.
