But serious question, what happens if a nominee dies between officially being selected and the election? What is the process there? Can someone else be put on the ballot? Does the public still vote for him knowing his VP pick will be the one taking the presidency if they win?

Joe hasn't had a job for almost 2 years, except to campaign. And he doesn't even do that. The rare occasion he comes up from the basement he sounds and looks like someone that belongs in the circular wing of the hospital

This right here is what's wrong with America. This statement is intellectual dishonesty personified. Donald Trump gives multiple campaign speeches that last 90 minutes every week. He takes hostile questions daily from the press. Joe Biden can't do a speech without a teleprompter and regularly refuses to answer questions from the press, even though most of them have thrown aside any pretext of being even the least bit adversarial. Imagine the Biden that spoke today doing a town hall with Tucker Carlson. That's what Trump did earlier this week with George Stephanopoulos.
