Where is your concern when people use terms like "liberals", "Leftists" or "Democrats"? Do you think they have some consensus opinion?

Pretty much the perfect response to illustrate your clown point.

No need to address the rest of your useless drivel.

Rage on.

You're better than this white flag dismissive BS.

Especially since I gave a substantive response to your ad hom derailing of the thread.

Rage on

And certainly better than this.

The funny thing is my valid and responsive post is going to be called a derailing event b/c of your rage response. Now you're setting that up by doing the "I'm going to accuse you of what I just did" routine so the retards on here eat it up to try to focus on me and further derail the thread.

Even AA's Twelve steps is based after the Life of Jesus Christ. The one thing that saves the majority of people from falling back into addiction is to stop being selfish and being an example for other addicts to follow into recovery. Saying prayer(meditation), being mindfulness in the now(Not delving unto the past or the future) and responsibility. Responsibility is what gives humans meaning in life.

I think I've said this before, I can understand why some people especially the more intelligent or people that base their life off of proof/logic/science have problems with Christianity. Sometimes in my more cynical moments, I do too. It jist doesn't make sense, but at the same time, it makes all the sense in the world. Almost too much. An actual ethereal deity that we can't ever see or hear, there's no physical proof of am actual God....... except that there is, if only you have a mustard seed of faith. Then everything makes complete sense. It truly is the light, in more ways than one, and I feel blessed to have been raised as a Christian since day 1.

I see him every week with his Bible just a few seats down from me. He’s hearing the gospel truth taught. We’ve been going through the book of Revelation verse by verse this entire year. All I know about him is that he has been coming for over a year and continues.

Fair point but as children we were told to believe in Santa Claus if we wanted to get gifts. And you damn well know we did.

This country needs more religion.

There are currently so many unhappy people out there and lots of it devolves to a place where Humans don’t entertain the idea of a higher power.

I have a feeling the type of Christianity and messaging of Jesus he's referencing is the type that this board says isn't real Christianity.

You are correct, the way and the light are very personal and can't be conveyed to others by witnessing.

Interestingly enough, I have always said the “social” commandments of the 10 commandments are perfect for society. And if you follow the 5 Holy commandments the social commandments naturally fall in place.

So some commandments are more important than others?
If you'll be honest with yourself - you don't obey any of the commandments.
If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you will cast Mt Sinai into the sea.
Break free from the law of sin and death and come into grace.

I would point Joe to this clip by the late Voddie Baucham.
