The problem with these things is the left has proven time and time again they can't accept anything less than full on complete submission to their agenda. Accepting even 1% of anything conservative is as bad to them as accepting 100% of a conservative agenda. They're an all or nothing party as this point.

Manchin better watch his back because his friends on the left will ostracize him in a heartbeat.

The GOP needs to make a run at Manchin if they think he would win re-election. Get him to flip and that takes heels up out of power in the Senate vote.

Murkowski, Collins and Romney will vote to approve so Schumer can afford to lose Manchin.

Once he retires his seat will be GOP. He is the last of the old timey democrats that dominated WV. The Democratic ideals that JFK ran on, Blue Collar unions.

One concerning thing about WV is the Eastern Panhandle is growing tremendously and will probably be running the state in 20-30 years. It could flip WV to blue in presidential elections just like NOVA did to Virginia.

And how would this happen?

We definitely need to heels up out of that key spot, but this has to happen yesterday.

100% agree. I hope he’s like this with other Cabinet nominees along with making DC and PR states and expanding SCOTUS
