Dude needs more time and needs to find a way to appeal to the heartland. Because he's a Kennedy from Boston thatll probably never happen but he would do better to get Congress experience and run against pence in 2024. No crat has a chance in 2020 especially if the economy keeps up

Ted Kennedy's corpse has a better chance of being president than that slobbering idiot.

Also, he is a white dude, so he is not qualified to run as a Dem.

Nixon was giggling in his grave over a Kennedy ruining his presidential aspirations because of a little schmutz on his face.

Did you see his response to Trump's state of the union? He seems to have a lot of support, at least in his district with a diverse crowd. What he was spouting was a bunch of bull shite if course.

Presidential elections are usually due to the economy. So if the economy is doing well, trump will get credit and likely win. If the economy isn't doing well, he will likely lose.

Hillary lost the general election, and Jeb was trounced in the primaries.

Eh. I can buy Hillary as proof of that.

Jeb’s just proof that money and famous relatives won’t let you make chicken salad out of chicken shite.

If it’s a greasy lips contest, then Li’l Joe wins in a landslide. If it is a presidential election, Trump wins.

Like a trade war?

Its a fools game to try to predict the business cycle IMHO. The US hasn't experienced a downturn since the 07-09. So statistically speaking we are overdue for a recession but that is statistics and not reality.

But if the economy is not doing as good as it was last year, then trump probably loses. Since we really haven't had a booming economy since 05-06 time frame, any downturn is going to hurt for most americans.

If Trump goes balls-deep into Syria resulting in lots of American casualties, Joe might have a chance. He would have to run a very un-Hillary campaign focused on the economy, the environment (mostly national parks, without pressing too hard on global warming), corruption (whether real or imagined), making government work for the people, hammering Trump on brinksmanship foreign policy, etc. I think if Joe runs a civil campaign focusing on real issues rather than stupid identity politics and what bathroom we're supposed to use, he could very well win.

However, there is zero chance in hell today's democratic party will allow that kind of campaign. They're completely in the tank for identity politics and aren't going to come out of it any time soon. They're going to shout "collusion" and "racist!" until they're blue in the face and red all over the map on election day.
