An employer may not ask a job applicant, for example, if he or she has a disability (or about the nature of an obvious disability). An employer also may not ask a job applicant to answer medical questions or take a medical exam before making a job offer.

The ADA prohibits an employer from asking about a disability. Vaccination status is not a disability.

This is not correct at all. HIPAA prohibits covered entities from DISCLOSING certain medical information, not from requesting it.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act

The fact that you do not even know the correct acronym for the Act tends to make one discount your assertions ABOUT the Act.

This is true. have e ever been interested in employment law. But personal health history seems like it would be in the list of things you can’t ask in an interview.

It's quite literally the same thing as getting Covid, an attenuated virus vaccine. Getting Covid or Novavax, neither will kill or harm you (outside of some sniffles) and yet one let's you check the stupid "fully vaxxed" box.

Like it or not, I’m pretty sure this is not a novel question of law.

Schools have always asked this question as well as requiring proof of vaccination.

Asking an employee to show proof of vaccination does not violate the ADA in that it does not pertain to a long term disability nor HIPAA which governs medial providers.

Just curious, what law does it violate?

Here lies the problem in playing this stupid game. It is not about the "vaccine" it is about compliance. "Oh we will let you have your freedom if take this shot that is ineffective and potentially deadly." I say frick that shite and frick people who go along with these ridiculous measures because they want their freedom.
