They should be totally free to state this opinion.

They need to trade that ability for their tax exemption to do so, however.

My problem with the sign isn't that it's religious. It's that it's wrong.

Jesus fed the mob one time. He didn't feed them every day. He didn't sign them up for food stamps. He didn't give them Section 8 housing paid for by hard working, tax-paying Galileans.

Yes.

Jesus did that.

An individual.

Not as a head of state or local legal authority.

He also did not instruct civil authorities to not apply and follow their laws (in fact, he routinely said the contrary).
