Yeah let me try to lie about numbers to the actual chairman of the fed. Trump is such a fricking clown

Biden dropped the ball big time. It's the best case, I think, of his staff determining inaction I didnt expect him to take. The whole blame-it-on-not-passing bill thing was naive. he has executive powers.
If illegal immigration looked like it did in the Obama era, it wouldn't be a big issue, and Trump would look like the boy who cried wolf.
But the 2020s didn't look the same. Numbers up around 3 fold (?), different area, different demographics. committing more crimes, more gangs, etc. There was a need to adapt to those new challenges and it just didn't happen. If a reason was not wanting to look more like Trump, that is a bad way to determine public policy.
I think a canary in the coal mine on this issue was voting in the NY/NJ areas. Numbers really suffered there compared to recent history. I get why. So much police resources dealing with increases in retail theft from migrants. Hotels, like so many around JFK, closing to make more money off of housing migrants rather than serving the public need. There were a lot of people who are ideologically very pro-immigration who could see whatever this is, the system is not working.
So basically Trump went from kind of shamelessly milking the issue and looking like the "boy who cried wolf', into looking like a prophet 8 years later. Very damaging politically. Unforced errors.
In general is an embarrassment for our politicians to not have accomplished a significant immigration bill. Late term Bush was the perfect opportunity and the far right sabotaged anything constructive being done with was a major turn off for me.

Probably in disbelief that the president would state an incorrect budget number was higher than publicized because it included a building that’s already been built. He corrected him on live TV and made him look like a bumbling old fool.

It’s what you do. Try to demean other people and slurp Dear Leaders cock. Better wipe your chin. It’s still there.

Was it? Why was it in the fed’s report? Powell may not want to include it in the current discussion, but if it was part of the original project scope, it would be dishonest to leave it out.
Do we know if it was included in the original project scope?

You're obviously very shallow and don't travel deeply. There's been so many of you losers on lately it's hard to keep up.

almost a hundred comments about project mismanagement and not one comment describes who the general contractor is. I did a 30 minute google search for the general contractor with no results. Powell is not the bad guy here. The fed's name and function on the Renov contract is where the mismanagement occurs.Large project management is a well studied science and when projects fail the reasons are obvious.

What do you mean by traveling deeply?
Glad I wasted that effort for such a nice response!
