Fast forward a few months and there is a national mandate that we all have to get it right this second, people are getting fired for not getting it, kids over 5 can’t go to school without it in California, no exemptions...
The vaccine may be all well and good but it’s that rapid shift in less than a year from “Yay we came up with an option!” to “Shut up and take your shot (booster)!” that makes it seem nefarious. The more they push it, the more it makes me question why it’s so important that every single person get it now. It does feel like an effort to eliminate a control group.

Probably so, but why not stick to the very real issues with a mandate instead of posting a bunch of nonsense about how it’s dangerous, a hoax, and all sorts of other arguments trying to discredit the vaccine which just makes one (and by proxy all of those who land anywhere on the right) as foolish morons. Stick to what’s solid, unless they truly do believe what they say about it being dangerous etc….

The vax IS dangerous.
The vax IS a hoax. The cdc had to change the definition of "vaccine", FOUR times in 2021. So this bullcrap shot can meet the definition of a vaccine.

Why are you assuming that these “posters” that are all in on this are right-leaning? At this point, there has been a shite ton of new posters on the board. Who knows what their true political persuasion is?

I think it’s a very, very safe assumption. Almost no one at all that posts on here even had moderate / center viewpoints much less left leaning.

The President could surely make life tougher for those states that don't follow his mandates though (i.e. fed funds start drying up)
