This is a helluva non-answer. Volume of what? Recovery from what?

It's an economic correction if anything, and it's because the libs advocated for policies that threw production and demand way out of whack. They handcuffed the invisible hand to the table and won't acknowledge that they're the ones who did it.

The White House’s message, Psaki replied, was that Americans were spending too much.
The people that want to spend $5 Trillion on social slush funds, ladies and gentlemen.

I posted the stats around the shipping containers. They are processing like 10% less containers in LA this year vs last year.

I didn't see your stats but what arse did you pull them from. Port of LA just had the largest month ever and 2021 is way ahead of 2020. Ports all over US have been setting records all summer.

port of LA records

Imagine, if you will good people, a democrat politician accusing anyone, much less the legal, law abiding tax paying American citizen, of spending too much.

Jesus jumping fricking Christ, it just doesn't get more ridiculous than that. It's really just too much

Yeah...that link reads like it was written by Jen herself.

How does that square with the statement right below that?
quote:

September 2021 loaded imports reached 468,059 TEUs, about the same amount compared to the previous year. Loaded exports dropped 42% to 75,714 TEUs compared to the same period last year. It was the lowest number of exports since 2002.

Empty containers climbed to 360,092 TEUs, a jump of 28% compared to last year due to the continued demand in Asia. In total, September’s 903,865 TEUs was 2.3% above last September’s previous record of 883,625 TEUs

Guys, take it easy. You're forgetting about the one major win this administration brought us. They saved us .38 cents on a hot dog for our 4th of July BBQ.

Yes, I agree if our politicians didn't have such horrible spending habits our country would be in much better shape. I somehow don't think that's what she meant though.

Somehow the above statement and rapidly rising inflation just doesn't compute to me. It's more an oil and water mixture as opposed to cornbread and buttermilk.
