From what it looks like, Hegseth also used an unsecured phone. If that’s true, he should resign.
We have a deep bench for defense options, starting with Elbridge Colby. No need to spend more political capital on Hegseth. Just not a mistake he could afford to make after how much effort the GOP put in to get him confirmed in the first place
