If they aren't on the court, they are protesting. You can act like they weren't but that's why they weren't on the court. Imagine supporting a bunch of anti American losers.

And you have proof of this?

One can protest some American aspects and not be anti-America.
It’s like a person can be against giving aide to Ukraine and not be pro-Putin.

Sorry, born and raised there, LSU fan, etc etc.

Landry has turned this into a national issue anyways, so I think I'm right where I belong. Sorry I hurt your sensitive little feelings.

When did the LSU WBB team say they were protesting? This has always been part of their routine. The same for LSU FB. They have never been out for the national anthem. Wait til you hear when the student section at every game finishes the anthem with "and the home of the Tigers!" instead of "brave!"

How about admitting to the fact that Landry jumped into a fake argument made up by people that had zero context of what actually transpired, tripled down on his foolishness and insisted that universities should enforce totalitarian policies against student athletes?

What's more un-American: protesting the flag, or forcing people to acknowledge the flag in the "correct" way at the risk of punishment? Second options sounds straight out of the communist playbook.

Then this is none of your concern. I voted for the Republican, not the Democrat. If you don't live here, i really don't care about your opinions on local matters.

And i really don't care that you'd rather me vote for anyone but Landry in, essentially, a 2 man race because Landry said something about LSU Women's basketball.

LSU Women's basketball is the least of my concerns regarding this state and how it's run.

Here's a clip from the 2022 national championship. Georgia was in the locker room and not on the field during the anthem.

If they really cared about America they'd vacate this championship. Leave it to blue state Georgia to disrespect our country like this!

If Alabama was on the field, this would be relevant.

Again, one team prioritized it and one team didn't. LSU was the loser in the game and on the anthem.

Barstools is a Georgia fan. Does TCU (not Alabama) not being on the field excuse Georgia for missing it? It's ok to disrespect our country as long as the other team does too? Absolutely not.

Keep making excuses for the America hating communists known as the Bulldogs.

So Iowa prioritized it and Georgia’s coach didn’t? Is that what you are saying?

The exact type of idiot he is pandering to.

Any action would end up in court where the university and state would be bitch slapped and embarrassed nationally by the Supreme Court for infringing on free speech.

And he was wrong anyways. He just refuses to give up.
