Mulkey's Baylor team was present for the national anthem before the national title game in 2019. Wonder what changed since then for her to change her pregame routine for tournament play!

It's been turned into a freedom of speech issue by Landry. Him believing stupid lies about this, like many in this thread, have turned it into a freedom of speech issue. Saying someone should lose a scholarship because they may happen to protest our national anthem is stupid as hell. Nevermind the fact he's wrong about why they weren't out there.

But since he has an R by his name, some of you will defend him no matter what he does. This is what low intelligence looks like.

Cream Pai has been on a roll trolling about this topic.

I can't confirm if this is true or you are making it up, but a few things:

1) So what if she changed her routine now at a different school? Is she not allowed to do that?
2) Things i've heard is that her routine has been teh same since she's been here.
3) I've also read that ESPN has changed the way it airs the program and partially dictates pre-game schedule. Not too hard to believe seeing as this is the first couple years that women's college basketball was noticed.

I didn't defend him on this issue. But i also don't select governor's for their hot takes on sports.

Newsflash: Twitter made an issue of this. Since last years title game the media has made this game the ghetto tigers vs the clean cut white girls of Iowa. If Catlin Clark played for the Tigers and was in the locker room it wouldn't have been an issue. The right wing circle jerk on twitter jumped on this and our Gov took the bait. The views you have spewed in this thread are about as communist as views get. The Washington Post and the LA times tried and failed to smear the Tigers. Click bait right wing twitter throws up some mems and people melt down. holy frick this is stupid

You shouldn't admit to anyone you voted for this clown, regardless of the issue. That's embarrassing.

I'm not making it up, you can quickly find it on YouTube.

My impression of Mulkey is she is not a fan of the kneeling stuff and is trying to thread the needle like Mike Tomlin did with the Steelers. Of course she can change her routine, but I think it's pretty clear why. Her answers on this have been weak as hell and people buying it are being intentionally gullible about it.

More embarrassing than admitting you voted for the Democrat?

None of this has anything to do with them being in the locker room

I'm lost is Landry saying they have to sing or say anything, or just simply respectfully stand out there will work?

He’s saying they have to participate in the Anthem. What that all entails is a grey area. And this creates more problems than it solves

Ah, the ole "he doesn't agree with my shitty takes and shitty support of a shitty governor so he must vote Democrat" argument.

I think the only Democrat I've ever voted for is Kip Holden. I'm not in Louisiana anyways, but my point was is Landry is an embarrassment to the state of Louisiana, which is really hard to do in a state that ranks last in all the good things a state should want.

So tell us why “she is keeping them in the locker room”.

Why is she the only WBB coached being asked this question? Why is she getting singled out? But I agree with you, she needs to give a strong answer. Something like buzz off, I run my team like I want.
