Sorry if it was already posted, but I couldn’t find it. Looks like they will meet out of ULL:

quote:

Landry said his transition chairs will be Ralph Abraham, Lane Grigsby, Shane Guidry, Timothy Hardy, Steve Orlando, Eddie Rispone, and Sharon Landry. Kyle Ruckert will direct the transition team, wafb

With this list of names it looks like it will continue to be politics as usual as these are all people who already have a hand in everything.

Do a little research on those names and that will tell you all you need to know about who you just elected

You get what you voted for

Nope not at all. The names were terrible when I read them. It’s basically a who’s who of behind the scenes people who have been running the state into the ground.

And yet he was voted in without a runoff…

Is this something they get paid for?

McClenny and Mosley didn’t make it? Was it there a residency requirement or did they not make the minimum donation threshold ?

He was his number one donor. They have been "friends" for many years.

Like this is some gotcha? Clearly you aren't in support of this guy, but this is a two way street? What would we get if we didn't vote for Landry, or rather, who should have been elected in your opinion? What makes your alternative better?

The republicans should have found a better candidate and not blow their wad before the race even started
