People said the same things about Trump. And look how he turned out, the greatest President in our lifetime. I look forward to his 8 years and draining the swamp of Radical Leftist policy.

I have nothing against Landry, but “radical leftists” don’t seem to be Louisiana’s biggest problem at the moment.

Every state around us grew in population and economically

Louisiana shrank

Cantrell is single handedly killing the biggest money maker in the state with the crime and homeless problem. Tourist are staying away and Edwards sat by and did nothing all while she gleefully to pride in not work with her own party governor in a deep red state.

Landry may not be the best choice but we need common sense to get things back on track.

He should be better than John Bel Edwards, and I hope he'll surprise me and actually get into the nitty gritty of Louisiana government issues.

The difference is that Trump was already rich and didn't have any motivation to run a bunch of crooked money scams. Not so much for Jeff. And of course, the lawyer industrial complex we all live in will only get worse under Landry.

And I say that, having voted for him.

Not only around us but all across the South. Louisiana is the lone exception.

He'll be better than Edwards, sure. That doesn't really require that much. Will he reform the state so much that your kids will be enticed to move back? Probably not.

I’m interested to see if he makes eight years. The 45 cent tax falls off in two years and it likely won’t be renewed. That means less money for infrastructure, police and schools, etc. Does he go the Jindal route and play budget games for two years to get re-elected at the expense of his second term, does he just let things get worse, does he raise taxes to fill the gap? It will be interesting.

What the hell are you talking about?! We live in a deep red state that has been a Republican supermajority for years and is run by a business union.

Oh never mind. You’re a cultist that likes being pandered to. Carry-on.

Well, if Landry bothers a leftist this much, he must have been exactly what Louisiana needs.

The best things he did were his little publicity stunts letting us know he was running for gov next.

Thats about it as AG. Maybe he will surprise as Gov, or maybe he wont.

He did file a bunch of frivolous lawsuits, too. I forgot about those for a minute.

Maybe he’ll come up for air after blowing the plantiffs bar and do something fiscally conservative.

I woke up to this great news this morning. Then walked next door and got some coffee. Now enjoying my coffee over looking the gulf. Nice little chill in the air. Gonna ride bikes to the bookstore in seaside. Great start to another great day.

. To all the Landry haters.

Are you calling me a leftist? That’s hilarious. Not even close. Just a normal dude who doesn’t like politicians who piss on my leg, tell me it’s raining and try to sell me an umbrella. I’m more libertarian than anything else. Just let me go my way and you go yours.

All Landry will do is pursue anti-woke policy and beat his chest like he’s making a difference. Meanwhile, we will remain dead last in every measurable metric and the brain drain will continue. I don’t see how he advances this state.
