I can tell you that you are wrong. He does not have the command of state government like JBE or Jindal. Particularly, as you point out, about the workings of the state budget.
BUT he does understand taxes and business development. And he really understands workforce policy (education and training).
For better or worse he has decided to make this election a referendum on JBE and not about who has the better policies. Politically that makes sense.
I am not sure that knowing and not sharing policy ideas is better than not knowing. Neither is ideal.
But yet, I will take either over tax and spend JBE.

And anyone with half a brain should know La. couldn’t build 14 Billion dollars of road projects in four years if they found 14 Billion dollars in the capital basement today.
The fact is the backlog grew under Edwards.
