I don't recall Whitlock ever being in lockstep with the narrative. I've always like him for his candidness even if I didn't agree with it.

But then we white folks can't virtue signal by the public displays of shame over "white guilt" and the black antagonists don't have an avenue to gain positions of power through exploiting that guilt.

Thats the thing. Clay has been a genius through the past few years growing Outkick. Someone wants to cancel him - he doesn't care. He grows his following.
His book about getting politics out of sports is a pretty good read.
They are trying to turn Outkick into the Fox News of Sports media. With many on the left hating sports and not really following it - his audience is growing exponentially.

I don't always agree with Whitlock, but I always thought he was a straight shooter who DGAF.

Whitlock has been vocal about his/this position for years. Go to YouTube and search “victimhood Olympics”.
I’ve been a fan of his for a while.
And for those questioning his weight, he played d1 college football- what have you done?

9 such incidents in 2019.
It’s just amazing that smart, well educated people are on board with the downtrodden black man when all the statistics say otherwise, if there was true evidence of racist behavior I would be onboard. I have thought for years we do have a police issue but it goes past race. What frustrates me the most are the totally ignored, indisputable statistics linked to young black male crime rates that were not a problem 50 years ago. Fix this issue and a lot of issues fix themselves.

What you're seeing is people who either prefer subjective truth over objective truth or people who are too afraid to speak out against the narrative.

Pushing that does not put food on the tables of the race-baiters nor give avenues of violence for ANTIFA thugs. It also takes away the strong identifier of victimhood many of the protesting blacks believe in. To take that away, to them, is to tell them what they believe is a lie. People, regardless of gender/race/height/etc, rarely care to hear that; it goes even moreso for those who chase the aforementioned subjective truth over objective truth.

The concession that he voted for Obama solely out of a sense of racial obligation was the eye-opening part of the conversation for me.
I’m not “coming at you,” btw.

But remember, it is Whitlock who is the fascist!

The actual results of the voting say otherwise.

But, it demonstrates a fundamental flaw in the entire thought process.
I've never voted "for" or "against" anyone based on his or her race.

Sadly, those types exist. A woman I grew up with voted for Blanco solely because Blanco was female (and thus be the first female Governor of the state).
