I saw the comments Candace Owens made about Juneteenth. She's a really sad individual. But I'm not mad at her. As long as people like her, Jason Whitlock and Rachel Dolezal (or any other apologist on both sides of the coin) can say odd ball comments, get some attention and make a few dollars off of it they will continue to exist.

That’s our whole society. It’s not specific to right or left leaning. There’s 20X the number of black clickbait artists on the left. But that’s a function of overall political demographics.

Educate yourself. Juneteenth is a legitimate Texas holiday. It's pretty much a BS holiday everywhere else and has been co-opted to hide the fact that border states symaphetic to the union were the last to free their own slaves, not Texas.

Yep. Just like and Republican who doesn't buy Trump bs is a RINO. See how we all think. We aren't much different after all.

Trump is chewing the fricking gray matter out of the skulls of tens of millions of mentally fragile Americans....you appear to be one of those millions.

Problem with your logic is that you think I care about ignorant people, black, white or any race ahooting each other for bs. America doesn't so long as I protect myself and the ones I love, I could give 2.

He ain't a coon for just this, its the whole thing. He's been feeding that monster for years on every racial topic there is and few that aint. Call em like I see em. False support for changing community thought processes to line your pockets by being "radical". He's a snake oil salesman with nothing to sell but rancid opinions with no solutions, just judgement.

I mean hey, is it not on par with the undertones of the rest of this post toward black people and a holiday that holds means to people but not you? Take the day off and shut the f up? Offered opinions are open to criticism. Ain't always the criticism you want. Again, I could give 2.

I bet the man took a huge pay cut when he left ESPN and Fox. Whitlock claims he left big time sports broadcasting so he could speak freely......I notice a shite ton of black Americans do not like Whitlock speaking freely and speaking truth to power.

Weird opinionated rant on someone about how they are opinionated.

With regard to the snippet above from your drivel, at least you have a virtual plethora of idiots in your culture to label as the same.

IDGAF personally, but your new age privilege allows you to use colorful language like "pasty", whereas in the past on this website someone was banned for saying someone looked navy blue.

Serious question to see how logical you are: was George Floyd incident that should have lead to national riots that destroyed huge swaths of cities and killed innocent citizens?

It's been around in these parts as an unofficial celebration by African Americans for at least 25 years. Never really was a "thing" though. Just a barbecue and beer kind of day....usually on a weekend.

And I grew up in a 50/50 community. Never heard or seen it celebrated. My friends celebrated the 4th with me like normal Americans.

1) Read what I wrote... "if you grew up in a black church"
2) To bad blacks weren't considered "normal" Americans

I'm older than you and only started hearing about Juneteenth in the last 3-4 years.

With all due respect there is a lot of stuff you (and I for that matter) haven't heard about but that doesn't lower the significance of it. Suggesting that less than 1% of the population had any interest in it is a bit of a stretch. But I don't blame you or anyone else for lack of knowledge. It wasn't taught in school and in todays times when we do everything to avoid being WOKE it probably never will be.
