Based on highly dubious propaganda that only emerged much later, like almost everything from that era.

You would think that 2020 taught us more.

This board’s entire historical frame of reference is WWII, and even then, most of that frame of reference is based on ignorance.

They can't escape the orbit of the WWII mythologies. Gonna take a long time to shake that. Sad.

No argument with your post. I was only saying that they have no love for the Chinese. I think history will show its worse than just experiments.

It’s racial hate. On both sides.

Biden will side with China over Japan, unfortunately.

Well, if I was Japan, this seems the opportune time to tell the U.S. and that treaty to get fricked... Who is going to enforce it?

The nuked out Ninjas have to come out of post-WW2 disarmament/retirement, since America has went p@ssy.

Wake up call to the world, a wussed out US and it's leftist leadership bureaucracy is not to be relied upon as a savior and protector.

Fend for yourselves.

I remember back in the 70s discussing the issue of 'Jap re-arm'. I was very much in favor of it. Before then they had semi military coast guard and police force but they needed a lot more.

The Germans, OTOH, don't want to rearm. I saw a fascinating interview about it a few months ago.

Q: 'How many fighter jets do the Germans have now?'
A: 'A lot but only about 20 could be put in the air this week.'

I say we let Japan be an independent military again. We can keep our bases there and work together.

better yet let them and south korea build up as much as they want and let them protect themselves and let us bring our troops home and stop wasting money.

The US wont get into a shooting war with china, want to hurt them...simple has to be economically. Sanction them for the bullshite they pulled and continue to pull.

My question is why do we sanction countries like cuba, but what china does is ok? frick that and frick them.

Why would they? Their defense is subsidized by the American taxpayer and multi national defense organizations. Of course they’d rather keep the money and use it elsewhere

“Japanese officials have opposed any concessions to China that Joe Biden may be willing to give.”

Japan sees this, yet no one in DC does. Communist sympathizers are going to allow this country to get overrun. Mitch, Joe, Swawell, all of them.

Ok...think about this for a second.

The US dropped TWO nuclear bombs on Japan less than 75 years ago, and they seem to be pretty cool with the US for decades now.

On the other hand, there's a portion of our OWN CITIZENS who are apoplectic about things which took place 150+ years ago and hate everything the US stands for and want to destroy it from within.

1. China keeps democrat bank accounts fat.

2. Democrats and the Chinese are on the same team.
