Musk recently dealt with the same thing at the mid level. Twitter employees threatening to quit after musk fired thousands of dead weight. Musk basically told them to pound sand.

I am not against collective bargaining however most modern unions are despicable.
In this case you have to look at your leverage. Slinging a mop, while important for the company, can be done by any first day employee. Striking as a janitor is pretty dumb, striking 3 weeks before Christmas is pretty dumb. I bet these guys were paid BANK compared to other janitors anyhow.

How could a union leader not make it abundantly clear that fricking with Elon is a losing tactic?
He should offer jobs to anyone to just work direct that wants to cross the picket line, including former janitors that are able to quickly deduce they FAFO'd.
