If they've got proof he's a child predator, then I'd hope he faces the full force of the law.

Nope, they'd leak it out through some means. There's been enough of a push back from fans that you'd think they would have let it go by now. Then no counter backlash.
Sure, I guess if they do have that sort of info they could just sit on it and hope it never sees the light of day but that's a pretty big risk to make after this hullabaloo.

Certainly. To continue to show he's not a current PR liability going forward and the shock comic stupidity is long behind him.
That's the key difference for me between this and Roseanne. Roseanne is a worry to continue to say shite that will get the show/company in hot water. Gunn doesn't appear to be at this point.
One is a continuing liability in the outrage olympics we live in now, and the other hasn't shown anything beside some horrible jokes ten years ago.

Those of you defending Gunn by saying I was just jokes are pathetic. It’s a joke when it is once or twice. When you fixated on something, especially something like that, there is some truth to those ideas and joughrs to that person.
Roseanne made one joke yet was labeled as a racist. Gunn makes tons of jokes about pedophilia and focuses heavily on it, but to many of his supporters that means nothing. This isn’t a bunch of gay jokes and there is a didfeeence between dark humor and an obsession with something as disturbing as pediphilia.
