Has Gunn come out and...
1.) Denied that he's a pedophile
2.) Acknowledged that pedophilia isn't a laughing matter and is a serious subject that shouldn't be normalized
3.) Acknowledged that true pedophiles should be SEVERELY punished
If he did that, and apologized for his words, that's good enough for me.
I suspect that he hasn't done that though. And, instead, he's just played the "it was a joke" card.

What the hell are you talking about? Yes, I think that it is possible to shut down obnoxious progressive bullshite with this tactic. It will be better than it is now. It's possible they could even cower in holes as they used to do and as the good lord intended.

It's hilarious that while libtards are bending over backwards to defend a grown man who made hundreds of pedophilia and rape "jokes" they are simultaneously trying to destroy athletes careers for using the word "fig" a few times when they were teenagers.

You learn that a co-worker, friend, principal at your kids school, maybe, years ago made a shite-load of jokes about raping kids (and not just generic jokes. The exact ones Gunn made), and you’re in a position to influence what happens to the person.
You’re just going to tell everyone to forgive and forget and move on like it didn’t happen? Just because you think he’s a good person? Based on what? I find it hard to believe they all know him so well and so deeply that they are CERTAIN that the mind that produced those jokes is really the mind of a good man.
I’m not saying to convict the man based on what he said, but I’m saying that I would demand he open himself to a very thorough scrutiny before I accepted that it was just some bad humor from a good man. And honestly, I would never accept that a sound mind would produce that filth.

If you subscribe to the thought that opinions should be punished (progressives do), then you can logically conclude that progressives view "homophobia" as worse than pedophilia. In fact, being that they don't want to punish for pedophilia, you can assume that they support it.
