Since the gov. saw the leaking to the media matter as being too weak of a case, I really hope the have more substantial charges to file against Comey. Something that would carry a stiffer penalty, hopefully an arrest and prison time.

Comey's best chance is if Biden beats Trump. Biden will halt all adverse action against Comey and will surely find a place for Comey somewhere in the Swamp, if Comey wants the job.
If Biden or any other Dem beats Trump, Trump policies will be obliterated within two years.

I don't know. But, we have to keep in mind that Trump is a complete Outsider who has NEVER held a job anywhere in FedGov before. Is he the only one in his administration like that? Or is there one or two others? Nevertheless, most of his staff for Law Enforcement and Intell are career FedGov civilian employees who most certainly realize that TRUMP will not be around forever, so, they had better make sure that they don't embrace Trump TOO MUCH for fear of what will happen to their career-prospects after Trump is gone.
I think that most of these career swampy-boys are very mindful of their career-prospects after Trump, who may very well be GONE in only 15 months.
I think that I have a bit of a handle on how the swampy-boys think and act. My impression is that they are VERY smooth, savvy and understated when it comes to how they operate. They put up a great front of "Selfless Service to the Agency and the Chief Executive" but behind the veil, they are always looking to maximize their career potential, 3, 5 and 10 years down the road.
There isn't one person in Trump's administration who would not betray and damage Trump politically, if it meant long-term swampy-by big-time benefits for themselves. These swampy-boys know that going hard after Comey would make the Globalist Gods very angry.
We'll see.
