bullshite! I do think the FBI has gotten out of control with investigations turning into instigations. But you cannot watch the Jan 6 videos without concluding that plenty of protestors needed to be tased into the next week. And if that didn’t do the trick, then shot dead. Same thing, but worse, for the summer of love BLM bullshite.

These two things can exist at the same time: that the government instigates crimes that it is supposed to be controlling; and the rioters need to be bludgeoned.

I did not realize that. I was under the impression that the woman who was shot was the only rioter killed. Yeah, I have little doubt that people like Ray Epps were Feds. The worst case was the Michigan Governor “kidnapping “ plot. Apparently the Feds who had infiltrated the group were the ones who cooked up the scheme. So though you believe that state actors instigated the violence that occurred on January 6th, you still are an advocate for deadly violence against those protesters? What you are promoting is a casebook example of entrapment.

I am incredulous that you don’t recognize the moral and logical inconsistency at play here. You are either delusional or a troll.

I don’t believe that. There is your problem with debate. You operate on binaries and you assume that anyone who disagrees with you on something fits the negative binary you have adopted for that particular topic.

The FBI instigated the Michigan Governor kidnapping, but this one was instigated by the protestors.

I think that Trump disgracefully tried to bring pressure on the system of election verification. (His chance to address the problem was leading up to the election when laws were changed to allow shenanigans.) Further, bad actors, enflamed by Trump’s rhetoric, battled police at barricades. That is on video. Some of those people were identified and convicted. I think that the FBI agents in the crowd intentionally made it worse, using techniques they have been caught using in the past.

So two bad groups were at play - violent protestors and a rogue FBI.
