Twitter is literally the only uncensored place right now.

Matt Taibbi has talked about how they were relatively honest until Russiagate, now it's accepted not to verify anything and just pump propaganda to defeat the orange menace. I seem to remember him explaining how he knew Russiagate was garbage. He figured it was either the biggest political scandal in the history of the country or a complete fraud. So, he called Schiff's office to check on a few items and they were evasive. He knew then it was all lies.

Do not trust anyone's AI at any point in the near future.

The Covid reporting wasn’t journalism, it was propaganda at best and outright lies at worst. The fact checking at the debates, just beyond absurd.
The MSM is the progressive left Marxists propaganda machine. 100%.

I thought Woodrow Wilson did this.

They are owned by the big corporations that have bought congress.

Wilson was a bit ahead of my time, and I can't remember back that far. Lol. (Really bad memory for me)
I think it was 2012, or at least during his first term, when Obama made some very nasty changes, including signing some really nasty stuff in the NDAA, (some of which got taken to court). But use of propaganda on the US public was included there.

When they couldn't push Gore over the finish line in 2000, they were chastened and then Rather fricked up their efforts to unseat Bush in 2004 by pushing a forged document.
2007/2008 Financial Crisis and the Magic Negro was the perfecto storm for them to finally achieve their ends. Trump was an unexpected hiccup, but they reclaimed power in 2020 by covering for Hunder's laptop and then the theft of the election.
Guess we'll see who wins this time.

I agree. We went from traditional liberal journalists that tilted left but still had some dignity and tried to hide their bias to political shills that lie and cover up anything that doesn’t fit their progressive narrative.
I think it started with the Clintons where “spin” was invented and the media loved him so much it was cute. Then with Obama where he would just say whatever he wanted with no questions and journalists that didn’t do this were shunned.
The culprit is our journalism ranks are now populated with liberal arts majors who were brought up in the mindset that their mission was to effect change and they vie themselves as activists. Also, corporate cronyism and money started driving news groups and pockets get filled by maintaining the narrative.

quote:No. Not that this election isn't absolutely crucial. But our system won't be fixed with on election. It's going to take a generation of elections to truly change things.
No casual observer could have looked at this situation last year and come to any other conclusion that THIS was going to be the decisive battle to be won in THIS war that The American Radical Left has been waging against us since 1960.
We have an entire generation raised and trained on leftist education and propaganda. The boomers are dying out. And Gen X is really small in comparision. There's a population wave coming. And most of them are Leftists parrots. The Right is 3 decades behind.
One election isn't going to fix it. It'll f*ck it up tho!

Well I guess in that case screw it, why bother.

Well they lie every day pretending there’s gonna be a real presidential election that actually changes a thing which anyone with a brain knows there isn’t
I don’t understand how more people don’t get that. Politics is nothing more than a scripted stage play like wrestling. It gives the peasants the illusion of having some power via the system. This world is one large psyop/house of mirrors.

Barry Sotero made domestic propaganda legal.
Don't act so surprised that it has come to this.
The "legacy" media has solidified it's role as an organ of the deep state.

There’s blatant lying now, and they won’t back down on the lies when called out on them. Orwellian.

But the outright scale and especially the boldness of how whoppers are being told repeatedly to our faces, in counter to full and available evidence, is staggering even to a cynic like me.
I see the current state of mass media as proof that we are already in a form of socialism. The legacy media is privately owned but they are receiving their revenue from outside of the fruits of the media. They have not been operating under the principles of supply and demand economics to stay afloat. They are being funded as a loss leader of the corporate conglomerate that uses the media as a shield to protect and promote business and narrative they want and make sure the bad never sees light. This is the legacy media service that is profitable to the corporate ownership.
