I had it too and the flu was much worse. Fever for maybe two days. Chills off and on for maybe 3. Some fatigue for 5. Right as rain after that.

Sounds like you got a cold

Are you in the vulnerable category? Just curious.
Hoping you come out of the woods quickly.

Sounds like flu
Flu is down to about 5% of what it was last year at this time. Covid clearly cures flu!
My son and DIL had covid early on. It was pretty nasty to them. However, over half of the people who test positive for covid, have little or no symptoms.

Damn, dude. Hang in there. Prayers!

Probably the flu. Nobody tests for the flu anymore because of politics and money.

Oh my God!
We should all wear masks, quarantine the healthy, label some people non essential workers and terminate their jobs, and sit in fear waiting to die.
Suck it up dude, it’s called life.

I didn’t get tested as I don’t want to add to the numbers. Back ache like the flu, but more painful for three days, fatigue, and the shits. Could have been the flu, but like any other sickness I stayed at home, hydrated, and rested unless it was serious.
Also drank Guinness for the debate, maybe that helped.

I have a galpal that is having a real rough go with it...
She just left the hospital on oxygen...it got her liver pretty good but she's 38...
She has AZN genetics and binge drinks, so it prolly didn't help...I had it rough for a day and kicked it keeping a cough for a few days

I got the flu like 5 years ago for the first time since I was a kid. It sucked about like the non lethal cases of this virus are being described.

Well you're the first I know of out of about ten who have had it and say they can still smell and I assume taste. It's seasonal flu season. Maybe that's it. Call the CDC and tell them. You might be their first case on record of the seasonal flu because I haven't seen a thing about it yet and we're almost into a whole month of flu season.

So far, two colleagues and one family member have had it, plus a few more further in the periphery of my circle. The "best" was a few days of discomfort. The worst was two weeks of what you are describing. But she was/is in HORRIBLE physical condition.
All BS aside, my thoughts will be there ... wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

You are wrong about that. The best was a few of your friends who had it but had no idea they had it. Either that or you have a VERY unhealthy circle of friends.
My 59 year old brother had it with only four hours of feeling badly. His wife had it, with no symptoms except short term loss of taste. My sons two late 20’s friends (husband and wife) had it, and he felt slightly bad for two days; she felt bad for two or three weeks but not very bad. My coworker’s two mid-80s parents had it and shook it off easily. One of my best friends and his wife just got it, and I’m not in the least worried. My CFO had it, as did his wife; neither had more than two days of feeling badly, although he was weak for about 5 days after he recovered.

Are you wearing a mask? If not, why don't you care about us? We could catch it.
