I have. Do you remember the senator that ended up being the emperor? Do you remember the emperor having his brain washed rogue Jedi kill the rest of the Jedi. Trump is not skywalker but more like yoda.

I remember when the economy sucked under Biden and liberals lied and said it was good. Now you see so many conservatives blind to what is going on, acting just like the liberals. It’s Trump’s economy. And it sucks. But many will try to sugarcoat it.

I'm not trying to sugarcoat it. I'm just saying to not lose your marbles and let democrats take over.

We've made gains in the cultural war at the very least. We've made gains in more, but that's something even the most ardent Trump haters should be able to agree on. Don't send us back to DEI, censorship of conservatives, trannies, and everything else about the woke agenda just because you are salty about Iran and the economy.

The war in Iran will end. We can fix the economy. Coming back from a cultural shift required a tour de force like Trump. You have to admit he has had more of an impact than any other politician. He was able to rally conservatives when no one could.

I don't see another force like Trump in the wings. Different factions of conservatives already have problems with every leading candidate. And none of them have the presence of Trump.

Be pissed off. But channel it the right way.

Society has reacted to the culture wars, and this is a big reason why Trump won so big in 2024. Trump received the advantage of society changing. He didn't cause the change.

Brother if Trump lets regular unleaded gas go over 5 dollars as my finance guys are saying, Jesus can’t save this midterm.

He needs to call the oil companies together and threaten them with losing all tax breaks if they don’t reign this shite it. Don’t give me any mfer free market bs in an industry controlled by a foreign cartel.

Society gave him a mandate, for sure.

But he deserves credit for using that mandate. So far he has:

Banned DEI and CRT: Eliminated all diversity, equity, and inclusion offices across the federal government and restricted Critical Race Theory.

Targeted University Funding: Threatened to strip federal research grants from universities that maintained diversity programs.

Cut NIH Grants: Canceled or reduced over $800 million in National Institutes of Health grants, primarily focusing on LGBTQ+ and HIV research.

Increased Scientific Oversight: Introduced political oversight into federal scientific agencies to align research funding with administration priorities.

Revived the 1776 Commission: Reinstated a curriculum framework to promote "patriotic education" in schools.

Ended Contractor Affirmative Action: Rescinded affirmative action mandates and specific anti-discrimination protections for federal contractors.

Removed DEI from the Armed Forces: Eradicated all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the military services.

Purged High-Ranking Military Leadership: Fired numerous top-tier generals and admirals characterized by the administration as "woke" or politically incorrect.

Shifted the Pentagon's Foundational Mandate: Refocused the Department of Defense on a "warfighting mindset" and merit-based readiness rather than social policy goals.

Renamed the Department of Defense: Signaled a stylistic return to historical combat roots by changing the Pentagon's official title back to the Department of War.

Intervened in the Military Justice System: Granted presidential pardons in high-profile military justice cases to actively signal direct support for frontline troops.

Militarized Domestic Law Enforcement: Deployed active duty forces and National Guard troops into American cities for domestic immigration and crime patrol.

Restricted Legal Protections and Transgender Policies: Dropped various diversity mandates while instituting sex-neutral policies that rolled back legacy inclusion efforts.

You may not agree with all of those actions or consider all of them "winning," and you may (as I do) even criticize some of them for being more about trying to expand executive power rather than anything else, but it's not accurate to say that Trump didn't lean into the cultural mandate he was given.

Of course, pretty much all of them were accomplished by executive order, so the clock is ticking on every one of them.

But sustainability wasn't the claim in question.

Is this whole thing one, big psy-op? I am really starting to believe that the whole MAGA thing has been one big psy-op from the beginning.
