Foreign interests. These are just Data Centers that house servers. The newer ones reuse the water and what gets pushed out can be pushed back through normal city systems and reused. It's used for water cooling.

The battle is whether we have data stored in the US or foreign countries.

When it's in foreign countries, guess who has easier access to get that data and use it without being tracked?
Answer: People who bug political opponents residences and utilize foreign intelligence services to gin up fake scandals, ie Russia Collusion

If Billionaire AI CEO's are scared and are speaking out then we should be scared. They are costing themselves money now.

No they’re not. They want regulatory capture to shut out open source models who can run cheaper than them and catching up to them.

Open source margins are 70-80% whereas frontier labs are around 40-50% because frontier labs have to build and train their own models. Plus the R&D costs.

“ The next ‘scare people into voting D with the end of the world’ point is upon us. Guess who the nazi AI is gonna kill first?

You guessed it! Brown skinned people!!”(quote RS).

AI via whoever employs it would go after those who pose the greatest threat to its/their dominance. Not the Browns. This Board is prime hunting ground.

Regardless AI will be developed and exploited for both the potential good that it can do and the potential dominating military power that it will project. Given this, the obvious and only avenue for averting war and calamity is mutual respect and synthesis of competing interests. Ideological and Religious. This Humanity-saving and true narrative is presented and labeled as “Transnational Progressivism” and the logical Argument therein is virtually impossible to contradict. I sure can’t and have long challenged this Board to do so, with no takers. That is why the GOPe Globalists always cave to the Progressive Left and the Democratic Socialist hegemony rides the top of the anti-competitive political wave, painting the ‘selfish’ Capitalist as both immoral and suicidal.

It’s a monumental ’Catch 22’ and just like the Titanic, unfixable minus serious loss and pain.

The ‘Silver Lining’ is to be found in the Bible. Which nails this scenario re the Biblical Eschatological Narrative from 2000 years hence.

It’s coming. Pray for Jesus’s Mercy.

Riccoar,

For decades the CIA had one of the largest listening posts in the world in Europe listening to communications. They would forward the info to Canada and then they would give it to us, because we could not spy on citizens, but if another country gave us the data it was legal.....even if we originally collected it.

Then the govt used this same model to give trillions to ngos for kickbacks

I guess that explains how a single CIA Agent could stack up tens of millions in Gold bars in his house.
